APPOINTMENTS &
CANCELLATIONS

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals may require us to shorten the length of your service and will be responsible for the full service price.

Your appointments are very important to us. They are reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.

Please understand that when you forget, cancel, or change your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our wait list miss the opportunity to receive services.

Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to prevent any missed appointments which result in a cancellation fee. Not receiving an electronic notification of your appointments from us is not sufficient reason to miss an appointment if the original confirmation notification was received timely.

Any appointment missed, late cancelled, or changed without 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. The appointment may be taken off of a contract/package/membership or charged individually.

Because of this policy, a valid credit card number is required at time of booking. If you choose to use an alternate form of payment at the time of your appointment, you may do so. This policy also applies to gift card and certificate holders.

It is mutually understood that if a cancellation is due to circumstances beyond any of our control, such as power outage, unfortunate incidence, or weather that requires you or us to have to cancel or be closed during regular business hours, we will reschedule your existing appointment and no discount or charges will apply.


 

GRATUITY

Customary gratuities average between 18-20 percent of the treatment price, but we always respect your tipping decisions. You may give your therapist a tip in cash or by credit card at the front desk at check out.

 
 

 

MEMBERSHIP

Memberships cannot be combined with any other offers. The membership cannot be transferred or terminated for six months. Your membership may be frozen if a medical condition arises which would prevent you from receiving a facial. Proof of the above circumstance must be provided. There is a $25 monthly fee to freeze your membership. If you miss a month you forfeit the facial for that month.

Your membership is auto-renewed at the end of the six month period. If you elect to end your membership you must notify Skin Facial Bar by the end of the 6 month period. Members must notify Skin Facial Bar of any change in credit card, address or account information.

 
 

 

REFUNDS

Unfortunately, skin care products, spa services and gift cards/certificates are not refundable.

 
 

 

GIFT/ E-GIFT CARDS

 

Gift cards purchased online can be used towards the purchase of Services and Products at Skin Facial Bar. Purchases will be deducted from the card value until the balance reaches zero. Gift cards and E-Gift cards may not be returned, applied to previously purchased services or products, or used to purchase additional Gift cards or E-Gift cards. Skin Facial Bar is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. 

 
 

 

GUESTS OF 3+

We would love to help organize parties for family, friends and business associates. Please contact us for more information on how you and your party can create a unique spa experience at Skin Facial Bar. 

  • Your date cannot be booked unless we have a deposit.

  • At time of booking you'll be asked to provide the names of any members of the party to receive services and the services requested.

  • All services required should be booked at this time as it may not be possible to change services on the day of your scheduled appointments.

  • A 50% deposit will be required at time of booking. Deposits are based on the services booked and will include a 18% gratuity on all services booked.

  • Deposits are refundable if the spa is given six (6) weeks written notice prior to the date set, otherwise the deposit is forfeited.

  • If an appointment is cancelled the day of service, you'll still be responsible for the total cost of the service.

  • If your party is paying for their individual services, Kindly advise them to leave a credit card deposit for their services as well.

 
 

 

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Skin Facial Bar has specially trained staff for most medical conditions. Please contact Skin Facial Bar in advance if any of your guests are pregnant or suffer from a serious medical condition.

Some treatments are not recommended for guests who have certain conditions. For your safety we require a doctor’s clearance before beginning treatment, particularly in the face of the following conditions:
• Cancer
• Cardiovascular conditions, including high or low blood pressure
• Swollen or painful lymph nodes
• Undiagnosed skin rash or thrombosis
• New injury of any kind
• Open sores
• Arthritis (osteo- or rheumatoid)
• Diabetes
• Blood Disorder and Disease

 
 

 

CELL PHONES

For the comfort of our guests, we ask that you please observe our no cell phone policy. We request that you turn off all cell phones before entering the spa area or salon. All emergency calls can be directed through our front desk. 

 
 

 

CHILDREN & VISITORS

Due to our limited seating and our guest to maintain the spa’s ambiance, the spa facilities are reserved for clients only. We are unable to accommodate visitors accompanying clients in the treatment areas or the relaxation areas of the spa including those complying with our age restriction policy. For the safety of your children and the comfort of other guests, this policy is strictly enforced.

 
 

 

AGE REQUIREMENTS

All spa guests must be 12 years of age or older, minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. 
All guests under the age of 18 must bring a signed consent form.
